You are woken up at the crack of dawn with tea/coffee & biscuits. Shivering in the early morning chill, you make your way to the vehicle which is waiting to take you to your balloon launch site after a briefing.

There is a feeling of anticipation in the air and you wait impatiently for the balloon to get filled. Now its time to enter the basket and off you go! As you drift along at treetop level, you can see the vulture's silhouetted against the dawn sky.

The sun rises, bathing everything in shafts of golden light. You spot a leopard warming itself in a patch of sun, and lots of ungainly hippo returning to the river after their night feeding. As you drift along on your magic carpet, you may catch a glimpse of water buck in the cool dew-laden grass of shady clearings or giraffe sunning themselves.

On crossing the river, the view of the pre-historic looking crocodile with wide open jaws causes your heart to beat a little faster. The open plains ahead stretch out to the horizon filled with a multitude of plains game. All too soon, its time to land. As you leave the basket, you can see all around you, tempting breakfast dishes, and hear the pop of champagne corks as you celebrate the end of your balloon safari with a champagne breakfast.
