Day 01: Arrival into Nairobi where you will be met and assisted through airport formalities. Transfer to your hotel situated adjacent to the Giraffe Centre. Rest of the day free to watch the giraffes, or wander through the forest to see smaller game. Full board and overnight at Giraffe Manor.
Day 02: Today, breakfast will be served in the sun room, where you may receive a surprise visit from the giraffes. Depart from the Manor at 0900 hours and commence your safari by driving north through lush farmland and coffee plantations, to the Aberdare Country Club. This serves as the base hotel for the Ark, and lunch will be taken here. After lunch, transfer with overnight bags, to the treehotel built high among forest trees and overlooking a waterhole where animals come to drink water and lick salt. Rest of the day is at leisure to watch game at the waterhole. Dinner and overnight at the Ark.
Day 03: Today, you will be treated to Bongo’s Brunch at the Ark. As you will be the sole occupants of the lodge, enjoy the peaceful solitude and spend time watching the animals in their natural habitat. Early afternoon transfer to the Aberdare Country Club, to join up with your vehicle. Continue driving further north to the Samburu Game Reserve, situated on the edges of the “Northern Frontier” district. You will arrive at your luxury tented camp in the early evening hours, and viewing game en route, arrive at your luxury tented camp. Dinner and overnight at Larsen’s Tented Camp.
Day 04: Full day in Samburu with game drives done in Camp vehicles. Scan the Samburu plains for game, from an animal viewing platform built in a tree. This is camping in the original style of the safari pioneers – hot showers and a surprising degree of comfort. Enjoy a first class dinner served by candlelight, and after dinner, sit around a blazing fire, exchanging yarns with fellow travelers. The Milky Way has never looked brighter, as seen from the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River.
Day 05: Breakfast at the Camp and transfer to the airstrip for your flight departing for Nairobi at 1050 hours. On arrival in the city at 1215 hours, you will be met and assisted to connect with your flight departing for Campi ya Kanzi at 1230 hours. On arrival at 1330 hours, there will be a 40 minute transfer by road, to your tented camp, situated at the foot of the Chyulu Hills. A late lunch will be served followed by a game drive in open 4WD vehicles. Meals are served in an open plan dining room, offering a panoramic view of the plains, crowned by the majestic Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Campi ya Kanzi.
Day 06,07: Two full days will be spent here, enjoying game drives in open 4WD vehicles, forest walks, visits to the Maasai villages to learn of their culture and traditions, game walks, and to watch, the more than 400 species of birds found in the area.
Day 08: Breakfast at the Camp and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi departing at 1130 hours. Met on arrival in Nairobi at 1230 hours and transferred to the famous Carnivore Restaurant for a delicious meal of barbequed game meat. Afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight departing for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve at 1500 hours. Met on arrival in the Mara at 1545 hours, and viewing game en route, arrive at your luxury tented camp. Dinner and overnight at Bataleur Camp.
Day 09,10: Two full days in this exclusive camp offering some of the finest game viewing experiences in custom–designed open LandRovers. As the Camp is situated on a private concession, they offer night game drives as well – an experience entirely different from the ones done during the day. Visit Maasai villages for an in depth view of their lifestyle and gain more insight into their customs by attending lectures on the Maasai. Enjoy spectacular sundowners with views all the way across the Mara Plains as well as the professional butler service provided by the Camp, game walks, bush breakfasts and candlelit dinners by the Mara River. Full board and two overnights at Bataleur Camp.
Day 11: Morning game drives in the Reserve, followed by lunch at Camp. Afternoon transfer to the airstrip for your flight departing for Nairobi at 1600 hours. Met on arrival in Nairobi at 1715 hours and transferred to your hotel, consisting of “treehouses” situated within sight of the Ngong Hills. Enjoy an aperitif on the terrace of your treehouse which offers you splendid views of the Ngong Hills, so beloved to Karen Blixen, of “Out of Africa” fame. Dinner and overnight at Ngong House.
Day 12: Transfer to the airport for your international departure flight.

Day 01: Arrival into Nairobi where you will be met and assisted through airport formalities. Transfer to your residence, consisting of
“treehouses” from whose terraces you will get unparalleled views of the Ngong Hills. Afternoon visit to the Giraffe Centre, where Rothschild giraffe are being raised, giving you an opportunity to learn about, and feed these elegant creatures. Visit the Utamaduni Centre and browse among the many shops there, shopping for souvenirs. Full board and overnight at Ngong House.
Day 02: Depart after breakfast and drive to the Loisaba Wilderness – a private wildlife conservancy situated at the edge of the Laikipia Plateau. Here, you will bask in the atmosphere of Explorer’s Africa – an experience designed to capture the excitement and adventure of a newly discovered piece of original African wilderness. Lunch at the lodge and game drive in the conservancy. Dinner and overnight at Loisaba Wilderness.
Day 03: Morning game drive/walk, returning to the lodge for breakfast. Lunch will be followed by an afternoon journey by foot, horse or camel to the famous Star Beds of Loisaba. You will be guided and hosted by a team of traditional Samburu and Laikipiak Maasai warriors, and your food will be prepared in traditional camp style, over an open fire. Dinner and overnight at Loisaba Star Beds.
Day 04: Return to the lodge for a day spent in the Sanctuary, with game drives and walks. Full board and overnight at Loisaba Wilderness.
Day 05: Early departure, by road, for Desert Rose, situated in Northern Kenya on the southern slopes of Mt Nyiru. This is a spectacular drive, passing the “Top of the World” at Loisolo Escarpement. Lunch and the afternoon to enjoy the many activities offered here. Dinner and overnight at Desert Rose.
Day 06,07: Two full days to enjoy the many activities offered by the lodge – walks with your hosts and Samburu warriors who will enlighten you on their customs and culture; bird watching in the thick riverine forest; camel safaris with a picnic lunch, game drives by Land Cruiser, bush dinners and sundowners, croquets, and the swimming pool with a natural rock slide. Full board and two overnights at Desert Rose.
Day 08: Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi departing at 0800 hours. Met on arrival in Nairobi at 0930 hours, and connect with your flight to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve departing at 1000 hours. Met on arrival in the Mara at 1050 hours and transferred to Camp, with a game drive en route. You will have the opportunity to relax briefly before lunch is served. Afternoon siesta and in the late afternoon, depart from Camp for a walking/tracking safari. Dinner and overnight at Cottars 1920s Camp.
Day 09: A light breakfast will be served early in the morning, to be followed by a game drive in the Reserve. Return to camp for a satisfying brunch. Afternoon exploration of the Reserve by vehicle and foot, ending up at a suitable site for a leopard blind. Dinner and overnight at Cottars 1920s Camp.
Day 10: Early morning game drive to look for cats. Your lunch will be a cooked brunch at a scenic site. After checking the leopard blind in the afternoon, return to Camp for a siesta or a massage. Alternatively, retire to the Camp’s reading room for a quiet read. Late evening game drive, followed by dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Morning lie-in and after breakfast, depart for the Mara River. A champagne picnic lunch will be served by the river, and in the evening, you will watch for leopard. Dinner and overnight at Cottars 1920s Camp.
Day 12: Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi, departing at 1100 hours. Met on arrival at 1215 hours and transferred to the renowned Carnivore Restaurant for a delicious meal of barbecued meat. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your international departure flight.
