The evening begins with a romantic sundowner cruise along the shores of Mombasa to Fort Jesus, constructed by the Portuguese in the 16th century.

The entrance is guarded by "Arab" & "Portuguese" men, bearing torches. The entertainment begins with a Sound & Light Show presenting the turbulent history of the East African Coast.

This is followed by a veritable feast - a 5-course candlelit dinner served within the fortress by waiters in Portuguese attire. Finish off the evening with a visit to Mombasa's famous night club "Bora Bora", or return to your hotel.
