Day 1: Fly from Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Take a scheduled morning flight from Nairobi's Wilson Airport to Samburu.
After an hour's flight, arrive Samburu Airstrip where your guide will be meet & transfer you to the lodge, or otherwise take you on a short game drive en route to the lodge.
Check-in, drop off your safari baggage in your luxurious, spacious villa and after freshening up, head over to the dining area for lunch.
After lunch, go on a game drive in Kalama Conservancy exploring over 200,000 acres of pristine wilderness in total privacy.
Enjoy sundowners with a breathtaking view, before heading back to the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Saruni Samburu.
Day 2: Enjoy 2 more nights at Saruni Samburu
Go on an early morning game drive into Samburu National Reserve to look for the 'Samburu Special Five' which are all rare species that are only to be found in Samburu. These are Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich and Gerenuk.
You can also look for bigger game found here, such as elephants, lion and leopard. Enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back to the lodge to relax for the afternoon.

Dinner and overnight at Saruni Samburu.
Day 3: Last night at romantic Saruni Samburu
Go on an early morning game drive looking for elusive game.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, go on a nature walk to discover animals, plants, and caves with rock paintings, led by your skillful & knowledgeable Samburu guides.
In the evening, go on a game drive in Kalama Conservancy, ending with a Bush Dinner under the stars in the middle of the wilderness, with Samburu warriors dancing around the fire, before going on a night game drive en route to the lodge.
Overnight at Saruni Samburu.
Day 4: Air transfer to Laikipia
After breakfast at Saruni Samburu, take a 20-minute charter flight to Laikipia, enjoying the spectacular views.
Lunch at Ol Lentille.
In the afternoon, choose from either having a spa treatment, taking the quad bikes to visit the local village & singing wells, or climb up the Ol Lentille rock for breathtaking views while enjoying sundowners.
Private dinner in your villa or in the Library.
Overnight at Ol Lentille.
Day 5: Enjoy 2 more nights in Laikipia
After a long breakfast in your private villa, go on a guided camel safari into the wilderness with Maasai warriors accompanying you. Viewing game from atop a camel is a very unique and different experience.
Stop for a picnic lunch by the river and on the way back to the lodge, watch how traditional honey is being collected.
Afternoon at leisure, maybe for a spa treatment, followed by sundowners, and then a bush dinner under the vast African skies.
Overnight at Ol Lentille.
Day 6: Last night at Ol Lentille
After breakfast, go on a walking safari and learn about wildlife, flora and fauna.
Come back to the lodge, rest of the morning at leisure.
After lunch, maybe visit a local school or the local weekly livestock market, or otherwise indulge in the spa with more treatments. Unlimited spa treatments are included at Ol Lentille.
After sundowners, enjoy a lovely dinner around the fire in the library.

Day 7: Transfer to Masai Mara
After breakfast at Ol Lentille, transfer to Nanyuki Airstrip by road, which takes 2 hours, to catch your flight to Masai Mara.
Upon arrival into the Mara North Airstrip, you will be met and be given the option to either go straight on a game drive with a picnic lunch under an acacia tree, or by the river next to a pod of hippos.
Or the other option would be to head straight to the Lodge, to rest & relax, and then head out on a game drive after lunch, in Mara North Conservancy - over 30,000 acres of protected land bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Dinner and overnight at Saruni Mara.
Day 8: Enjoy last 2 nights in the Mara
Enjoy an early morning game drive to look for big cats and other predators.
Come back to the lodge in time for breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure or to enjoy spa treatments at the Maasai Wellbeing Space (spa treatments are at extra costs).
Lunch, and then later in the afternoon, go on a game drive to a special area where the largest tower of giraffe can be seen.
Dinner at the lodge, with an optional night game drive.
Overnight at Saruni Mara.
Day 9: Last day on safari
In the morning, either walk through the valleys & plains, or go on a game drive up to the top of Kilileoni, the highest mountain in the Serengeti-Masai Mara ecosystem.
Come back to the lodge in time for breakfast.
In the afternoon, after lunch, explore more of Mara North Conservancy, and its neighboring conservancies.
Head back to the lodge, and in the evening, weather permitting, experience a bush dinner with Maasai warriors singing and dancing around the fire, under the vast African skies.

Day 10: Return back to Nairobi
Wake up at leisure, and have breakfast at the lodge. Visit the rhino sanctuary on the way to the airstrip, while watching the hippos & crocodiles on the Mara River.
The flight back is mid-morning, and you will arrive Nairobi at around midday.
Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, transfer to either a restaurant for lunch (lunch excluded), or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward international flight or to a Nairobi-based hotel.
