Offered only at Loisaba Lodge, this is a unique experience - a highly innovative safari product that has been quoted as a highlight experience for many guests. Located in one of the eastern valleys overlooking a large water area, each Star Bed is different.

Comprising a raised, handcrafted wooden platform sculpted high into a kopje of rocks, it is semi-covered with a thatched roof.

You have the option of wheeling out the Beds onto the uncovered area for a night under the stars. Guests reach the Star Beds by foot, horse or camel, and are guided and hosted by a team of traditional Samburu & Maasai warriors. Food is prepared in traditional camp style over a fire at the open walled central mess area.
