You are collected from your hotel in the early evening, and drive out to the Tamarind jetty where you will board the Tamarind Dhow. A welcome 'dawa' (alcoholic cocktail) is served to you, and the dhow gently sets sail into the evening dusk.

Sailing along to the accompaniment of the resident band on board, a delicious dinner is served under the stars. After dinner, the dhow drifts to the beat of popular Swahili songs like Malaika & Jambo Bwana, as well as more contemporary music.

The crowd warmed by the mood & drinks, takes to the floor, and a splendid time is had by all, dancers & watchers alike. Arrive at the jetty to the strains of "Lala Salama" (sleep well), to end off a perfectly romantic evening.
