Finch Hattons Camp is a luxurious tented camp in the vast Tsavo West National Park. The Park has a variety of landscapes including rainforests, volcanic lava fields, Jurassic-age granite monoliths, and ancient caves begging to be explored. Home to over 12,000 elephant, the Park is also where the famous man-eating lions of Tsavo lived.
Day 01: Early morning transfer to the Nairobi terminus for your 1st class train departing for Mtito Andei at 0820 hours. Met on arrival in Mtito Andei at 1120 hours and viewing game en route, arrive at your tented camp in Tsavo West National Park. The Camp is located near natural spring waters, which form natural waterholes attracting hippo and other game in the area. Lunch to be followed by an afternoon game drive in the Park. Dinner and overnight at Finch Hattons Tented Camp.
Day 02,03,04: Three full days in Tsavo, enjoying game drives in the Park. Marvel at the Shaitani lava flow, or venture into the lava tube caves of the Chyulu Hills (may attract extra payment), or enjoy a sundowner by the hippo pool. Full board and three overnights at Finch Hattons Tented Camp.
Day 05: Breakfast and at 0830 hours, transfer to the Mtito Andei terminus for your 1st class train to Nairobi. Met on arrival in the early afternoon hours and transferred to your hotel.
